Wilma Viola Aab

Wilma Viola Aab, 86 of Greeley, passed away October 25, 2017. She was born August 5, 1931 in Lindsey, Nebraska to Anton and Lena Geilenkirchen Loeffler, and was one of 8 children, 5 girls and 3 boys.

Wilma attended school in O’Neill, Nebraska until 1944 when her family moved to Greeley. She attended St. Peter’s Catholic School finishing the 9th grade, and then attended Greeley High School.

Wilma met Wilbert Aab, the love of her life, in 1948. They married on July 21, 1951.

She worked at several different places and then later at Greeley Hospital until her retirement. Wilma also volunteered with many organizations, including the Senior Center of Greeley.

Wilma is survived by her loving husband Wilbert; one son Allen (Cynthia); grandsons Aaron (Sarah) and Cody (Brianna); great granddaughter Valerie; sister-in-law Lydia Loeffler; brother Elmer (Bernice); sister Mary Jo Bruntz (Ed) and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4:30-7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 3, 2017 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Friday, November 3, 2017 both at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Reception will follow services at Moose Lodge, 3456 11th Avenue, Evans.
