

Zelda was born to Herman and Hazel Zupke in Greeley, CO. She graduated from College High School in 1953 and married Theodore Eugene McNulty. They had two children, Sherrie and Michael; Gene passed away in 1957. Zelda married Dorn “Butch” Brunner in 1958 and they had one child, Dawna.
Zelda was a homemaker and was very active in her children’s lives, even taking on the role of PTA President. Her hobbies included bowling, ceramics, sewing, cross-stitch and quilting. She even won awards for some of her beautiful cross-stich pictures at the Weld County Fair. She worked at Norbel Credit Union for several years and was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.
Zelda is survived by three children, Sherrie (John) Jerke, Michael (Judy), and Dawna (George Porter) Tuma, and seven grandchildren, Noel (Maria) Jerke, Ashley (Stephen) Brim, Aubrey (Callen) Miller, Nicole (Richard) Hildahl, Lindsay (Kristopher) Sanchez, Stacey (Kyle) Schilling, and Tyler Brunner. She was also blessed with 15 great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Zelda was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Hazel Zupke, husband Butch Brunner, sisters Vera Roberts and Betty Anderson, and son-in-law Lonnie Tuma.
A funeral service will be held at Macy Chapel, 6521 W. 20th St in Greeley on Friday, October 17th at 10 am. A graveside service at Sunset Cemetery will follow the chapel service.
Zelda’s memory will live on in the hearts of many.
