Barbara R. Meyer

She married Thomas A. Meyer on August 8, 1959 and he survives. Also surviving are her daughters Julie and husband Brent Reed, Coatesville and Janis and husband Sergio Gonzalez, Indianapolis and grandchildren Miles, Katie, Emily, Michelle and Annie. She is also survived by her brother David and wife Debbie Wright, Rockport, Texas and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

She is a graduate of Jefferson High School, San Antonio and retired from the Indiana Department of Corrections. She was an active member of St. Andrew Church and was also a volunteer for the Putnam County Senior Citizens as well as RSVP Volunteer Services.

She was dearly cherished by many and her generous and loving spirit will be greatly missed. A service will be held on Thursday, May 24th at 4:00 p.m. at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 520 E. Seminary, Greencastle. A Celebration of Life will then follow at 7:00 p.m. at Irvington United Methodist Church, 30 N. Audubon Rd, Indianapolis. Donations can be made to St. Andrews with the notation: Non-Food Pantry.
