Carolyn Sue Lawless

Carolyn Sue Lawless, 87, of Greencastle, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021. Born January 19, 1933 in Putnam County, she was the daughter of William Cully and Doris May (Oakley) Price and a graduate of Bainbridge High School. Carolyn was a homemaker and worked at DePauw University for 8 years as an acquisition assistant. She is survived by her sons, David (Ruth Bollman) Lawless, Tim (Leanne) Lawless, and Joe (Karla) Lawless, all of Greencastle; a sister, Evelyn Underwood; grandchildren, Adam Lawless, Andrea (Brent) Otenburg, Jeremy (Angela) Lawless, Nathaniel (Ashley) Lawless, Joshua (Christen) Lawless; Daryn (Meredith) Clifford, Marki (James) Jared, and Rian Perkins;14 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Alva Lawless and sisters, Judy Price & Nancy Baldwin. Graveside services will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the Brick Chapel Cemetery. Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
