Dennis was born in Lebanon, Indiana on March 4, 1941, the son of Floyd and Helen Marie (Kettering) Troth, and was a graduate of Speedway High School. He earned his Master’s Degree in Engineering from Purdue University in 1965.
Mr. Troth was a member of North Meadow Circle of Friends in Indianapolis, and was a 30 year member of Alcoholics Anonymous.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Elaine Troth; a daughter, Dr. Leszlie Woodyard, and her two children, T. J. and Eli Woodyard all of Athens, Georgia; a son, J. T. Troth, (wife-Kim), Sugarland, Texas; a brother, Jack Troth (wife-Sandy), Dale; a brother-in-law, Mike Garrison, (wife-Trena), Florissant, Missouri; an aunt; an uncle and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Karen Stover.
The family will plan a memorial service at a later date.
