

Donald was born in Putnam County on April 19, 1942, the son of Pearl and Edna (Feltner) Hoskins, and was a 1959 graduate of Cloverdale High School.
Mr. Hoskins proudly served in the United States Army in Special Forces Operations. He was a Professional Bull Rider for 7 years until his retirement due to injury. He was a certified Jump Instructor and enjoyed parachuting. Donald was a member of the American Legion, and Professional Rodeo Association.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Victoria Hoskins; two sons, Brian Hoskins, (wife-Angie), and James Benge, (Sherry); a daughter, Shannon Hoskins; a brother, Joe “Hoss” Hoskins, (wife-Martha); a sister, Geraldine Wilhoitt, (husband-Toney); nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Brian Benge; and a brother, Pearl Hoskins Jr.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2021 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Friday.
