Elizabeth Ann Smith

Elizabeth was born in Owen County, on February 5, 1935, the daughter of Chester R. and Emma (Everly) Bonnewell, and was a graduate of Patricksburg High School.

Mrs. Smith worked for many years with Hooks Drug Store as a Pharmacy Tech. She attended Hanna Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Larry Smith, (wife-June), Donald Smith, and Michael Smith, (wife Krista); a brother John Bonnewell, (wife-Debbie); nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a sister-in-law, Carolyn Bonnewell.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert and William Bonnewell; and an infant grandson.

Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home with Pastor Patrick Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to time of service on Tuesday.

The family would like to thank all of the great people at Mill Pond Health Campus, and Great Lakes Hospice for their excellent care.
