Born February 9, 1945 in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Ralph Eugene and Frances Maxine (Hathaway) Runyan. Gypsy was a graduate of Greencastle High School “Class of 1963”.
Gypsy was a homemaker and had driven a school bus 22 years for North Putnam Schools.
Gypsy was survived by her husband, Myron “Butch” Hacker; daughters, Myrona (David) Gilley and Robin (Robert) McGaughey; grandchildren, Erin and Emily Gilley, Jasmine and Cade Hacker McGaughey.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, May 2, 2016 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Brick Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, May 1st at the funeral home.
