Born February 13, 1941 in Indianapolis, he was the son of William and Louise (Crooks) Henry. He married Penny Lou (Viehe) Henry and she survives.
Harry was an electrician, owning and operating H & P Enterprises; he previously worked at Edwards Electric for several years. He had also worked for several other electrical companies in Indianapolis.
Survivors include his wife, Penny Lou Henry; children, Sandra Lou Byrd, Lisa (Mike) Parks, David William Henry, Scott Allen Henry, and Michael Bill (Holly) Henry; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Herbert Henry.
