Howard W Thomas

Howard W. Thomas, 92, of Greencastle passed away Friday, November 20, 2020, at Putnam County Hospital. Howard was born in Greencastle on January 5, 1928, the son of Robert Logan and Lola Marie (Bryant) Thomas. Mr. Thomas was a member of United Bricklayers Union of Terre Haute. He attended and was baptized in New Providence Church. He was a bricklayer for 35 years until his retirement. Survivors include his wife of 75 years, Imogene Thomas; three children, Danny Thomas (wife-Melba), Gary Thomas, (wife-Jenny), and Peggy Cash, (husband-David); eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and eight brothers and sisters. Private family services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
