Born February 20, 1930 in Brazil, IN, he was the son of Ren and Faye (Giltz) McCullough and a graduate of Reelsville High School “Class of 1948”.
He retired from IBM in Greencastle, where he had worked for 32 years and also farmed. He was a member of First Baptist and Big Walnut Baptist Church; and a former Cloverdale Town Council member. Jim loved fishing, motorcycling, boating and camping with family
Survivors include his daughters, Pamela Booker and husband, Kirk of Fuquay-Varina, NC and Marlena Stevens and husband, Brent of Belle Union; a sister, Sylvia Query and husband, Duane of Greencastle; grandchildren, Joshua Johnson of Baton Rouge and Taylor Stevens of Amo; and five great grandchildren, Kaleb, Justice, Dayton, Brenna, and Levi; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Bonnie L. McCullough; a son, Dale McCullough, granddaughter, Jessica Johnson, sister, Edna Smith, and brother, Edgar McCullough.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 3, 2015 at the Big Walnut Baptist Church, Reelsville.
