Born August 31, 1952 in Greencastle, she was the daughter of L.J and Betty “(Wilbur) Clark and was a graduate of South Putnam High School “Class of 1970”.
Janet was a tax analyst, working in customer service with the Department of Revenue in Indianapolis from 1994 to 2011. Janet enjoyed her job and loved working with and helping others.
Survivors include her beloved partner, Willie Taylor; daughters, Amy (Buford) Mitchell of Danville, Angie (Brad) Piersall of Fillmore, and Natalee (Mark) Hessler of Stilesville; sisters, Jennifer Stephens, Judy (Richard) Layman, and Joyce Smithers; brother, Jon (Carol) Clark; and eight grandchildren, Tyler, Anthony, Trevor, Bradley, Kaitlin, Leeland, Trenton, and Colton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother-in-law, Gary Stephens.
A Celebration of Janet’s Life will be held at a later date. Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
