

Judith was born in Tangier on June 21, 1942, the daughter of William Ray and Lilly Waunita (Little) Griffin.
Mrs. Stockton was a member of the Eastern Star. She worked as a cook for North Putnam Schools for 30 years, starting at the elementary school and moving to the North Putnam High School as a cook and cashier until she retired. She love to sew, crochet, and cook.
Survivors include her two sons, Dan Stockton, (Jodi), and Scotty Stockton, (Jamie); five brothers Dennis Griffin, (Juanita), Terry Griffin, Rogger Griffin, (Ruth), Danny Griffin, (Rada), and Randy Griffin, (Leigh Ann); three sisters, Connie Doan, (John), Rebecca Kinderman, (Curt), and Connie Griffin; two grandchildren, Ashley McMickle, (Adam), and Cameron Stockton, (Chelsey); four great-grandchildren, Maverick, and Viviann Stockton, and Landon and Harmon McMickle; as well as, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 47 years, Arthur Daniel Stockton; an infant son, Christopher Allen Stockton; three brothers Virgil, Henry, and Tim Griffin; two sisters, Patty Hinkle and Peggy Fortner; and two sister-in-laws, Mary Jane and Cathy Griffin.
At her request there will be no services and cremation will take place at a later date.
