Born March 31, 1927 in Greencastle, she was the daughter of William E. and Myrtle (Lentz) Taylor and attended Greencastle High School.
Lena owned and operated “The Workshop” an upholstery shop in Greencastle. She had previously worked at Mallorys for several years.
She was a member of First Baptist Church and a former member of the Clinton Falls Church. Lena loved doing crafts, woodworking, and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert L. Grimes Jr; twin daughters LeaAnn & DeaAnn Grimes; and six siblings.
Lena is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Kenny) Ferrand and Donna (Jim) Cooper; a son Danny (Judy) Grimes; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Graveside services for Lena will be held at a later date at the Forest Hill Cemetery.
