Born July 15, 1957, in Terre Haute, she was the daughter of Hubert J Finney and Mary Lee (Foulk) Thompson. Mary Ann was a graduate of Terre Haute North High School, Indiana State University, and received her master’s degree from St. Mary of the Woods College.
Mary Ann worked at Putnam County Comprehensive Services for twenty three years. She was very involved in Special Olympics program. She had previously worked for the North Putnam School Corporation.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mary Ann is survived by her brothers Tim J. Finney and Paul A. Finney; two half-sisters; one half-brother; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 5, 2025, at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 AM until time of services.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mary Ann to the Putnam County Special Olympics.
