Ora G. "Bud" Lady

Born August 3, 1932 in Greencastle, the son of Ora A. and Maude (Smith) Lady and was a graduate of Greencastle High School. He was a United States Army Veteran, having served in the Korean War.

Bud was a press operator with IBM for over 30 years, retiring in February of 1987. He had also worked as a realtor with Waldrons Real Estate for several years.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Greencastle and the Greencastle Lions Club.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. (Gowin) Lady; a daughter, Kim Eubank & husband, Ron; a sister, Margaret Redmond; grandsons, Justin (Brittany) Eubank and Nathan (Brookelyn) Eubank; great grandchildren, Kaylea & Braysen Eubank; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, three sisters; three half-brothers; and two half-sisters.

A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at the First Baptist Church 404 Judson Drive Greencastle, IN.

Memorial contributions may be made in Bud’s memory to the First Baptist Church or the Donor’s Charity of Choice.
