

Born January 11, 1935 in Putnamville, he was the son of E.J. and Opal (Anderson) Jackson.
Richard had owned and operated with his brothers Jackson Brother’s Real Estate, the Campus Double, the Triple J, and the Double Decker Restaurants.
He was a member of the Putnamville United Methodist Church. He was an avid bird hunter, fisherman, and a lifetime member of the NRA.
He is survived by his wife, Luella K. (Phillips) Jackson; sons, Steven ( Kendra) Jackson, James (Rita) Jackson, and Mark (Brandy) Jackson; brother, Robert “Bob” (Marilyn) Jackson; grandchildren, Tiffany (Trent) Boswell, Randy Jackson, Lisa (Chad) Oliver, Ashley (Colt) Underwood and Brody Jackson; great grandchildren, Whitney & Sydney Boswell, Brookley, Khloe, & Trace Oliver; Taylor & Luke Underwood; sister-in-law, Barbara Jackson and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael “Mike” Jackson: and brother, William “Bill” Jackson.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Forest Hill Cemetery. Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Tink to the Humane Society of Putnam County or the Putnamville United Methodist Church.
