Rita M. Campbell Davis

She was born on July 26, 1962 in Buncombe County, North Carolina to Don Edward Campbell and Irma Lee DeBruhl Campbell.

Her parents and a sister, Donna Campbell preceded her in death.

Rita had been employed at Heartland Automotive for 17 years.

Surviving are her husband of 33 years, Mark; two daughters, Stacie Merriman and husband Justin of Greencastle and Nicki Davis and companion Garry Rigney of Greencastle; a brother, Ralph Campbell and wife Sherry of Ashville, N.C.;a sister, Regina Taylor of Ashville, N.C.; her beloved eight grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Lilly, Holly, Joseph, Hailee, Kaleb, Wyatt, and Christian; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 11, 2013 at 10 A.M. at Bittles & Hurt Funeral Home, with Steve Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Clinton Falls Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 10, 2013 from 2 to 6 P.M. at the funeral home.

Rita will be remembered for her love of shopping, but most importantly she was a loving mom and grandmother, to not only her children and grandchildren, but the neighborhood children.
