Robert Clay Miles

to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 24th, while at Mill Pond Rehab in Greencastle,

Indiana. A resident of Heritage Lake, Coatesville, Bob loved to fish, bird hunt, garden, and play pool.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 70 years, Donna Mae (Blois) Miles and four

children: Carla Beth Huestis Wilson (Greg), Loretta Jane Pingleton Bales, William Neal

Miles (Lori), Robert Kell Miles (Tammy). He was preceded in death by his son Steven

Edward Miles and grandson Robert Tyler Miles. The Miles family includes fourteen

grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.

Bob's sisters are Beverly Ann Miles Smyth (John) and Linda Carol Miles

Wineman (Larry). Deceased brothers were Donald Lee Miles and Freddie Wayne Miles

(Lavonna).

Bob was born September 16, 1931 to Robert Leroy Miles and Julia Jean O'Hair

Miles Bachert. Bob graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1949. He served in Korea in the Army as a Staff Sergeant. May 10th would have been Bob and Donna Miles' 70th Wedding anniversary.

Funeral services will be held at Grace Baptist Church (Hwy. 75, just north of Hwy.

40) at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 6th, with visitation from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Burial will be in

Bainbridge Cemetery following services. Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home was in charge

of cremation.
