Robert Gerald Tresner

Bob served his country in the US Army during WW II.

He attended the University of New Mexico and graduated from Indiana University. He was employed at IBM for 27 years. Bob was a member of the V.F.W., Temple Masonic Lodge #47, Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis, American Quarter Horse Association and a life member of the Quarter Horse Racing Association of Indiana.

His parents, and a sister, Kay Jean Stewart, preceded him in death.

Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Shirley R. Wiegand Tresner; brother-in-law, Jim Wiegand and wife Becky of Cloverdale, brother-in-law, Richard Stewart of Austin, Texas; niece, Tina Kissinger and husband Jason of Schererville, IN; nephew, James Wiegand and wife Catherine of Cloverdale; nephew, Brian Stewart of Austin, TX; niece, Brenda Randall of Austin, TX, and several cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 7 P.M. at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, with Rev. Alan Small officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 3 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home.
