Ronald Paul Livesay

Born June 7, 1936 in Tuscola, IL, he was the son of William Roy and Mabel (Rodgers) Livesay. He attended Bainbridge High School and graduated from Greencastle High School “Class of 1954”

Paul retired from IBM, and focused on his passion which was farming and being with his family and friends. He was also known for his brick laying and took a lot of pride in the home he built.

He was a member of New Life Baptist Church and previously a member of Brick Chapel United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Nancy Jane (Rowings) Livesay; his parents and a sister, Pat Newgent.

Paul is survived by his children, Lynlee Chris (Rodney) Sharp, Laren Cole (Deanna) Livesay, Jana Jaye (Fred) Lockwood, Scott Paul Livesay, LeeAnn (Michael) McCall; sisters, Nancy Clodfelter and Alice (John) Ray; brother, Bud (Cecilla) Livesay; ten grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, February 19th at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home.

Private family services will be held.
