Steve was born January 4, 1960, the son of Paul and JoAnn (York) Pitts. He graduated from Greencastle High School class of 1978.
Steve was a truck driver and owner/operator of Pitts Trucking Company for 41 years working for local farmers and farm co-ops. He was also employed by PDM Aviation the last few years. He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church of Cunot, Indiana
He married Tina (Frazier) Pitts on August 25, 1984; she survives along with his daughter, Jordyn Pitts; his son, Blaine (Kali) Pitts; his parents; a brother, Michael Pitts; a sister, Sally (Mike) Martin; and special aunt, Betty Kendall.
Graveside services will be held at Boone Hutcheson Cemetery on Saturday, June 24th at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Wes McClure officiating.
