Born December 10, 1934 in Reelsville, IN., she was the daughter of Webster and Wanda (Walker) Smith.
Virginia worked as a caregiver and minister to many.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by her children, Paul Hayes (Tetyana Hayes), Daniel Hayes, and Donna Dearwester (Rick Dearwester); grandchildren, Joe Payton, Christopher Williamson, Tonya Parr, Jamie Smith, Daniel Baugh, Orin Hayes, Timothy Hayes, William Hayes, and Irene Hayes; 20 great grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held for Virginia at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, 4 Percy Julian Dr. Greencastle, IN. 46135
