Virginia Mae Neese

Virginia Mae Neese, 90, of Brazil formerly of Greencastle, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024. Daughter of Herschel and Lyma (Cooper) Jones, Virginia was born on December 31, 1933 in Reelsville. She married Arthur Neese Jr on April 27, 1957 and began a family, having three boys and a girl. She is survived by her son Oscar (Rita) Neese; daughter Pam Neese Rose; sister Donna Savage; daughters-in-law Darla Wilson Neese and Debbie Neese; 11 grandchildren: 4 great grandchildren; step grand & great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Virginia was a stay home Mom. She loved Sunday diners with her children and grandchildren Virginia was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sons Steven Neese and Charles Neese; 5 sisters; a brother; and a granddaughter. She loved wearing and selling Avon for several years. She was a lifelong member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary and loved to play bingo. The family will have private services at the Fertig Cemetery in Poland, IN. Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
