Andrew John Feldhaus

A Mass of Christian Burial and a luncheon will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 11:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Fr. Briant Cullinane O.F.M. Conv officiating. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park at 1:30 pm. Family visitation will be held on Thursday from 7pm-9pm at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel, Greensboro.

Andy was born in Weehawken, NJ to the late Andrew Joseph and Dorothy Simonson Feldhaus. He was a US Navy Veteran and served during the Korean War. Andrew retired from Sandvik Steel in 1995 as a tool and die supervisor. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree.

He was a marksman, enjoyed woodworking, photography, coin and stamp collecting and spending time with his family.

Andrew was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Irene Feldhaus. He is survived by his wife Flo Echevarria; children, Dolores Loy and husband Rickey of Burlington, Andrew Feldhaus and wife Beth of Monroe, NY, Robert Feldhaus of Walnut Port, PA, and Diane Rumley and husband Duke of Greensboro; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and sister Doris Hawley.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road Burlington, NC 27215 or to Blessed Sacrament Little Portions Food Pantry, 710 Koury Dr, Burlington, NC 27215 in memory of Andrew Feldhaus.
