Those left to cherish Ann’s memory are her loving husband of 53 years, Walter V. “Bud” Joyce, Jr. of the home, and her son, Christopher Joyce, who was the joy of her life, of Greensboro, NC. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as many dear friends. In addition to Ann’s parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Etta Forbis Chavis, and her brothers, Robert Forbis and Gene Forbis, all of Rockingham, NC.
Ann graduated from Rockingham High School and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Two weeks after graduation from UNC-G, she went to work in the sales department of RJR Tobacco in beautiful downtown Winston Salem and retired after 33 years of service.
The Joyce family would like to thank Dr. Peter Ennever and his staff for their compassionate care of Ann during her illness.
