Upon retirement, Ann and Tom relocated to Jamestown, NC. They joined Memorial United Methodist Church in High Point.
Ann departed this life on January 14, 2022, only 10 months after her husband of 70 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Thomastina Fenn, Andrea Joiner (Lawrence), Thomas B. Simmons IV, Aleza Simmons and Marvin McQueen. Ann leaves a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and relatives. A legacy of fond memories will remain in the hearts of her family and friends. She was a great storyteller who always kept you laughing.
Love me and the memories I left with you, and smile. Look up to the sky and know I’m with my husband, family and friends. Love me, but let me go.
