Audrey Barton

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Lakeview Memorial Park with Rev. Randy Kidd officiating.

Mrs. Audrey Barton was born in Carroll County, VA, to the late Houston and Mary Blevins Sumner. She was one of the first hired at P. Lorillard when it opened and later retired after many years of service. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends most and was there for everybody who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Thomas “Gene” Barton. She leaves behind her children, Areatha Davidson and husband J.B. of Browns Summit and Kathryn Wright of Greensboro; grandchildren, Jack Marsh and Kristen, Kevin Davidson and wife Michelle, and Cameron Davidson and Stefannie; great grandchildren, Jacob, Piper, Baylei and Dylan Davidson; and sister Ruby Pearman of Shallotte, NC.

Family visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Hanes Lineberry N. Elm Chapel.
