Austin Dale German, 72, a resident of Greensboro passed away at his home on Sunday March 19, 2023. He was born December 8, 1950 in Dobson the son of Norman Austin German, Jr. and Nettie Dale Wiles German.
Dale served in the U.S. Air Force for 26 years where he was an air craft mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Margaret Susan Rogers and one brother, Alvin Bernard German.
He is survived by his wife, LaWanda Joyce German of the home; three sons, Norman Austin German of Greensboro, Joseph Loften German and his wife Sophie of Tucson, AZ, David Jeremiah German of Virden, IL; one sister, Nancy German Crisco of VA; one brother, Kevin German and his wife Gloria of Holden Beach and four grandchildren, Darian German, Jacob German, Loften German and Gabriel German.
There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends on Sunday March 26, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Dale’s memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.
