Barbara Holden Hutchison

Barbara was born on September 16, 1931 in Knoxville, TN, the daughter of Arlie and Stella Hauser Holden. She loved to needle point and travel. Barbara loved to fly and she and her husband William took many trips together in their airplane. They lived in Burlington, NC and Winston Salem, NC and when William passed away in 2001, she moved to Greensboro. She was a member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church in Winston Salem. Barbara was a kind and generous person and known for her quiet strength.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 9th, 1:00 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband William in 2001; her two sisters, Helen Allen and Faye Crawford and brother, Earl Holden. Those left to cherish her memory are her God Children; April Allen Stafford (Scott), Michael Allen (Linda) Kim Allen (Annette), Teressa Snider (Mark) and Diane Neeley (Andy); three sister-in-laws, Louise Holden, Irene Swinson and Jo Anne Rossin: one brother-in-law, Tom Hutchison and numerous nieces and nephews.
