A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Hanes Lineberry Vanstory Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:00 pm prior to the service.
Barbara was born in Baltimore, MD, daughter of the late Rosetta Brooks and Robert Tilden Vannoy. She lived in Elkin, NC and worked at Hanes Hosiery in Winston Salem until she married James “Bud” Sealey. She helped run New Era Cleaners in Greensboro for 20 years. After divorcing James, she worked at HBD and later at VF Jeansware until retiring in 2008.
Barbara was preceded in death by her sister, Louise Casey. She is survived by her son Jamie Sealey; nephews, Tommy, Charlie and Donnie Casey and niece JoAnn Casey.
