Maya Angelou said that people will forget what you said and what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. Your mom made me feel special and sophisticated. She bought me diamond stud earrings for my Bat Mitzvah 40 years ago - a lavish gift to bestow on a girl and one that I've never forgotten.  She was generous and kind and wickedly fashionable, sporting short hair and lined lips before either were trendy. I hope your memories of her bring you more smiles than tears.

Dear Andy, Peter, Brad and family,
Your mother was so special; kind, feisty, insightful, generous and beautiful.  Although I wasn't one of her closest friends, I was an admiring one.  My home, then and now is filled with things she helped, and occasionally forced, me to buy including several loved items from Casa Bique.  Oh, so many memories of her!  Trips to NY, visits to her in Polo,  the commotion when dismantling her beautiful Greensboro home to create an even more beautiful one in Florida.
Charming, outrageous, loving... I know your world is diminished without her in it.  Best wishes to you all.  Laura Milgrim
