Bennie K. Christman Phillips, 77, a resident of Greensboro passed away on Monday February 8, 2021 from COPD. She was born September 14, 1943 in Gibsonville, the daughter of Edwin Henry and Ethel Marcelle Harper Christman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Butch “Will”, Eddie “Ed” Christman; a sister, Glenda “Pete” Taylor and two beloved nephews, Pete Christman and Glenn Taylor.
Surviving include her beloved husband of 58 years, Charlie “Tony” Phillips; their daughter, Sonya P. Morris (Alan); granddaughter, Paula Kaye Morris; sisters, Deloris Rehak, Joan Ferrante and brother, Phil Christman. Bennie also is survived by her loved fur-babies, Sweetie and Sunny.
A service to Celebrate Bennie's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday April 24, 2021 at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by the Reverend Charles Garner. The family will receive friends following the service.
The family would like to extend their thanks and love to Megan and Lakish for the care and love they gave to Bennie.
