Betty Louise Jones Reynolds, 87, a resident of Greensboro passed away on Friday September 4, 2020. She was born February 17, 1933 in Martinsville, VA, the daughter of William Robert and Gladys Marie Terry Jones.
Betty attended Longwood College in Farmville, VA. She was a member of First Christian Church in Greensboro.
Betty was married to John Cornelius “Neil” Reynolds who preceded her in death on September 4, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Randolph Jones, Ray Jones and Ronald Jones.
She is survived by her daughters, Sue Reynolds Martin and husband James of Goodview, VA, Mary Reynolds Covington and husband Ron of Randleman; her son, John T. “Tommy” Reynolds of Meadowview, VA; grandchildren, J.C. Reynolds, Benjamin Martin, Nicholas Martin and great granddaughter, Ellie Reynolds.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by the Reverend Dr. Mike Simpson. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Betty’s memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.
