Brian Robert Rachal

Brian Robert Rachal, 32, of Greensboro, died Monday, July 22, 2013 at Moses Cone Hospital.

A funeral mass will be held Friday, 2:00 p.m., at St. Pius X Catholic Church with Monsignor Anthony Marcaccio presiding. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Brian was born October 24, 1980 in Plantation, FL, the son of Greg and Maureen Breger Rachal.

Brian was a graduate of Northwest Guilford High School and was Vice President of Pops Electric Co. He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church where he was recently installed Chancellor of the Knights of Columbus Council 11101. He was also a Sir Knight and Pilot of the Father Francis Connolly Assembly, National Co Chair for Electrical Construction Wiring for SkillsUSA and Co-Chair for the NC Electrical Construction Wiring for SkillsUSA. Brian was a co-founder of the Guiseppe Sarto Columbian Squires Circle where he ministered to young men. He particularly enjoyed shooting sports.

Brian’s maternal grandparents, Sharon and Bernard Bregor, preceded him in death as well as his aunt, Shelli Fisher.

Surviving in addition to his parents of Greensboro are his brother, Joseph Sean Rachal and wife Rebecca of Greensboro; niece and nephews, Ethan, Emma and Joey Rachal; paternal grandparents, Andrew and Cynthia Rachal of Alexandria, LA.

The family will receive friends Thursday, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm Chapel.
