I was fortunate enough to know Cheryl Jeffries Frye (as she liked to call herself) when she lived with Billy & Dorothy Frye. She could charm her way through just about any situation. If she was ever caught doing something she wasn’t supposed to do (which was rare because she was an Angel), she’d lean in towards you, smile & say, “I love you.” No one could be upset with her after that! She was sweet, she was loving, she was kind, she was adorable & she was so funny. I will always smile when her name is mentioned. And I will forever be grateful to have known her. 

Dearest Janice, may God wrap you in His comforting arms during this time.  Please be encouraged by all the loving memories that you keep in your heart of Cheryl.  He sent Cheryl as a light to all those she ever met with her smiles, her hugs, and her beautiful spirit.  

Now she is in heaven for eternity with your adoring mom and you have angels watching over, guiding, and protecting you together.

Cheryl, one of the sweetest and most beautiful soles one could ever  know. The way she would say Bet T Young just  warmed my heart.  Her hugs were contagious and always welcomed. I will always hold a special place in my heart for my Cheryl! Janice my love and condolences to you in the memory of Cheryl. She was so precious, full of love and laughter a joy to be around. Cheryl like Andrea taught us how to love, to laugh, to be kind, to forgive and appreciate the simple things in life. She was a great dancer ( I could  have used some of those moves😂), a songstress, I count it an honor to have  had the blessing of knowing and loving  Cheryl, she truly was and will always be in memory a blessing from God. 
She is  resting in the arms of Jesus.

My name is Antoinette I live in Columbus Ohio and I’m the granddaughter of Nellie Carter and daughter of Toni Carter. When I was growing up Cheryl and my Aunt Andrea (Angie) Carter was best friends. The memories I have with her and my Aunt still brings smiles to my face today. They went to the Ohio State fair one year and made a video dancing to MC Hammer “Cant Touch This” they both loved to dance ❤️.  Me and my sisters and cousins loved watching that VHS. I wish I had it today, I would give anything to watch it now. Then another memory I have is when we was teenagers just like any teen we loved to get on the phone to talk to our friends well at a certain hour my grandma would make us hang up from our friends so my Aunt Angie could call Cheryl they would be on the phone forever and boy didn’t our skin crawl LOL…..I wouldn’t trade my childhood memories with Cheryl and my family for the world. Thanks for allowing me to share such beautiful times and memories that are nearest and dearest to me and my sisters and cousins heart. God Bless you all during this time and know to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We love you all. 

Cheryl was a beautiful person who embraced God's love. Her smile was contagious and she was always kindly engaging. I thank God for putting Cheryl in my life.

This is toni carter, Andrea's sister. I am sorry for your lost. I have great memoried of them 2 dancing. I wish we still had that viedo of them dancing.

Remembering the joy Cheryl brought to all of us with her smiles and love. She will be missed, but celebrated for all of her triumphs in life.

Monday February 1 2021: I'm so sorry that my second cousin Cheryl passed.  I was shocked when I learned and saddened and had others reactions. Cheryl.was so nice sweet and funny when me and my father Nelson( like her mother's ,Odessa second son) would come visit Great Aunt Odessa Janice and Cheryl in North Carolina from Ohio. I wish I was able to have seen.her and spoke to her more. I hope the angels and God is watching over her, comforting her protecting her and her loving jolly playfully  spirit is internally happy.  - Stacie Benton from Columbus Ohio
