Clyde Oliver Flinchum

Born on November 12, 1939 in Randolph County, he was the son of the late Clyde Columbus Flinchum and Lillian Tucker Flinchum. Bud retired with over 40 years of service from Seager Water Proofing in Greensboro. He enjoyed working outdoors and fishing. Bud loved his family and enjoyed spending time with the grandchildren and his dog, Macy.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Flinchum and a sisters, Maxine Mabry and Helen Schoolfield.

Bud is survived by his children, James Flinchum and wife Brenda, Jeff Flinchum and wife Kim, Jackie Lynn Pegram and husband Kevin and Amber Morris and husband Brandon; seven grandchildren, Jessica, Tyler, Jamie “James”, Olivia, Chloe, Preston and Alex; five great grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Crider, Faye Osborne and Lucy Livengood; and numerous other family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:30 to 12:30 pm on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home, 515 N Elm Street, Greensboro, NC.
