Cynthia Hearn Stokes (Cindy), 66, of High Point, NC passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025, after a sudden illness.Cindy was born in Rocky Mount, NC on Oct 14, 1958 and her family moved to Greensboro, NC when she was 5 years old. She graduated from Ben L Smith High School in 1976 and from Central Carolina Community College with a Nursing degree. Cindy was a loving and giving nurse. She worked in Long Term Care for 45 years.
Cindy loved to cook and entertain and spend time with her family and friends. She loved the beach and looked forward to her yearly trip to Treasure Island, Florida.
Cindy is survived by her sisters, Pam Brooks of Greensboro, Karen Suddreth and husband, Mark, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; niece and nephews Zach Suddreth and wife, Shannon, and their children, Charlotte and Harrison; Cameron Suddreth and Alli Suddreth.
Family will be receiving friends on Saturday, June 28,2025, from 2:00-4:00 pm at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 West Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27407.
