Dalton Wayne Flowers

Dalton Wayne Flowers, 74, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at his residence. Dalton was born on June 14, 1942 in Portsmouth, VA, the son of George C. and Virginia Banks, Flowers. He worked with the D.H. Griffin Company and retired after 41 years of service. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend to many. He always enjoyed time he could spend with his family. He will be deeply missed.

Dalton was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda P. Flowers in 2000. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters; Connie Lynne Flowers and fiancé Jay Lamont of Reidsville, NC, Kimberly Dawn Flowers, Amberly Flowers Woods and husband John of Charleston, SC, Krystal Faye Flowers and fiancé Brandon Todd of Greensboro, NC; brother, Larry Wayne Flowers; sisters, Gail Holbrook and Vickie Kovach; grandchildren, Dustin Wayne Giles and wife Holli, Andrew Clifton Hodges, Ashlie Faith White, Lorin Nichole Hodges, Kasie Nichole White, Alessandra Lee Stewart, Shaylyn Michelle Hernandez, John Christopher Woods, Christian Hernandez, Zachary Cole Lawson, Layla Nichette Woods, Jacob Brandon Todd Jr.; great grandchildren, Jada Leigh Giles, Kayden Wayne Giles, Harley Arron Ford, Jaxxon Ryhler Giles and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, 2:00 pm at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel will burial to follow at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
