Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel. Burial will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.
Danny was born in Guilford County to the late Cary and June Hill. He served in the United States Marine Corp and was a respected carpenter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Nellie Hill; four sisters, two brothers, five step-children; seventeen grandchildren; and numerous step-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends following the funeral service at the funeral home.
