David S. Tubaugh

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on, Monday, November 8, 2010 at 11:00 am at Saint Paul The Apostle Catholic Church with Father John Allen officiating.

David was born in Endicott, NY to the late Gerald and Helen Towne Tubaugh on July 26, 1941. He was a graduate of Utah State in Logan, UT and received a MS degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder CO. He loved the Boy Scouts and served as a Scoutmaster for many years.

He worked as an Engineer at Lucent Technologies and retired after thirty years of service. After retirement he moved to Lake Murray, Prosperity, SC where he frequently

volunteered with the Newberry County Animal Care and Control.

David enjoyed an annual trip to Canada for bass fishing which he loved.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Dianne Gulbin Tubaugh; sons, Daniel Tubaugh and wife Leigh Ann of Charlotte, and Douglas Tubaugh and wife Anne of Greensboro; three grandchildren Benjamin, Nicholas and Madeline Tubaugh; sister, Dawn Darling and husband David of Apalachin, NY; brother Gerald C. Tubaugh of Westminster, CO.

The family will visit with friends on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Hanes Lineberry N. Elm Chapel from 4:00 – 6:00 pm.
