Deborah Siler Stewart

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel with Rev. Jim White officiating. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.

Deborah was born on May 9, 1947 to the late Robert and Margaret Siler, Sr. in Siler City, NC. She was a graduate of Appalachian State University and an avid Duke University fan. She worked as a school teacher for many years in the Guilford County School System. Deborah was a wonderful care giver.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Doug Stewart of the home; step-son, Tony Stewart (Dana) of Graham, NC; step-daughter Sandy Stewart; and special son Bryce Harris (Amber); sisters, Susan Phillips of Siler City, NC, Norma Thompson of Greensboro, NC; brothers, Robert (Bob) Siler (Helen) of Chapel Hill, Richard (Sandy) Siler (Jean) of Goldsboro, NC, Will Siler (Ann)of Waynesville, NC and Tony Siler (Ginny) of Stokesdale, NC; and fourteen nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday night from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society or charity of choice.
