Necy lived a majority of her life in Brooklyn NY. She graduated from James Madison High School in 1972. After graduating she acquired a job on Wall Street with a large firm. She worked there for many years.
Necy married Edwin Lanzo shortly after high school and from this union they had one daughter, Shavana.
After spending time as a stay-at-home mother, Necy reentered the workforce was a New York City Corrections Officer and worked in the prison system for many years.
Necy married for the second time to the late David Hallman Jr. David was a very loving and caring husband. From this union they had one son, Dion.
In 1993 Necy and David decided to move to North Carolina to be with her sisters. Necy accepted a position with Bank of America where she worked for 15 years in the Business Credit Services department. While working at Bank of America Necy discovered her passion and hidden talent, sales, and she began her new career selling Mary Kay cosmetics.
She had the gift of gab and never met a stranger and thus excelled in this business. Because of her diligence and hard work Necy moved up very quickly to become a Mary Kay Director. She was awarded a Mary Kay car which she drove with pride. Friends and family who saw her arriving in the car would say “ here comes Mrs. Kay!” Necy was very serious about her Mary Kay business. She always kept a large inventory of product on hand. Her moto was “ you need it, I got it and I’ll have it to you when you need it”
With her business doing well, Necy left Bank of America in Charlotte to pursue other opportunities closer to where she lived in Raleigh NC.
