Dennis was born on January 2nd, 1943 in Akron, Iowa to the late Phillip Eugene and Grace Maurine Keane Aalfs. He received his MBA from Stanford University in 1967 and worked for many years in various management positions.
His survivors include his wife, Arline D. Aalfs; his children, David Aalfs and wife, Laurie; Shelley Aalfs; Jennifer Aalfs; Becky Bean and husband, Chip; three grandchildren; his stepchildren, Sally Mericle and husband, Patrick; Susie Guhne and husband, Gene; Chip Earley, Shannon Earley and wife April; Doug Earley; five step-grandchildren; his siblings, Dan Aalfs and wife, Rebecca; Phylleen Jackson.
