Denzel Louise Walker Heafner was promoted to heaven on July 28, 2023. She was born September 23, 1939 to Cletus and Cora Walker in Granite Falls, NC. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Kenneth Allen Heafner.
She is survived by a brother, Sonny Walker (Judy), her three children, Kelly McLaurin (Scott), Sandi Jenkins, Kenneth Lee Heafner (Tammy), three grandchildren, Ryan Jenkins (Megan), Geoffrey Jenkins (Ivy), Matthew McLaurin, and two great-granddaughters, Malina and Anara Jenkins. She always prayed for her family and friends and loved and lived life to the fullest. She was a joy and a treasure to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed but we look forward to seeing her again.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel. 6000 West Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27407. Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. at Guilford Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Authoracare of Greensboro (Hospice).
