Eddie Paul Davis

Eddie Paul Davis, formerly of West Jefferson, NC, went home to be with our Lord on October 1, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Brandy B. Davis. Paul referred to Brandy as “my precious”, Brandy referred to Paul as “my Treeman”. He had a license plate made for the front of his vehicle saying “Brandy’s Treeman”. The love they shared was deep, unconditional and forever.

Paul was the son of the late Edward P. Davis and Della Dennis Davis. He was preceded in death by his son, David Davis. Paul was a veteran of the US Army 497th Engr Co (Port Construction). He received an Army Commendation medal, Good Conduct medal and Sharpshooter. For many years, he owned the largest barbershop in Greensboro and Alpha and Omega Tree Service. He loved tree work and nature. He loved to fish, bowl, and so enjoyed gardening. He was a member of the River of Life Church. Paul loved the Lord, his wife Brandy, his children and his church family.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Brandy B. Davis; his five children, Tim Davis, Chris Davis, Emily Espetia, Jonathan Davis and Sarah Davis, all of North Carolina; two stepchildren whom he told “I couldn’t love you any more if you were of my blood”, Christy Paradee of North Carolina and Tammy Wathen of Kentucky; 11 grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and sister Jeweline Walker of Florida.
