Edith was born in Winston Salem on July 16, 1927, the daughter of Isaac T. and Betty Reynolds Cook. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and also a member of the Guilford County Humane Society. She loved spending time watching the birds and squirrels feed in her yard and spending time with Lacy, her much loved dog.
Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew James Zebik and sister, Ina Williams. Surviving are her niece, Delores Faye Sweet and husband Bill and nephew, Eddie Williams and wife Jessica, all of Winston Salem, NC and niece, Shirley Sweet and husband Robert of Manning, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Guilford County Animal Shelter, 4525 W. Wendover Ave., Greensboro, NC 27409.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm till service time at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
