A funeral service will be held Wednesday, 2:00 p.m., at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm Chapel by Rev. Don Clement. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.
Edna was born February 13, 1926 in Albemarle. She retired from Cone Mills White Oak Plant, was of the Nazarene faith, and enjoyed fishing.
Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Wilbur Carver.
Surviving are her children, Patricia Ann McCaskill and husband David of Burlington, Ricky Joe Carver and wife Barbara of Lexington, Ronnie Ray Carver and wife Nancy of Greensboro, Carl Wilbur Carver and wife Sue of Myrtle Beach, SC and Terry Wayne Carver of Greensboro; sister, Betty Jane Pickler and brother Clyde Pickler, both of Albemarle; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received Wednesday, 1:00-2:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
