A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16, 2014 at Green Hill Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. with Dr. Steve Pressley officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home, North Elm Chapel.
Eddie is survived by his father Edward J. Mitchell, Sr. of Greensboro; his sister Joyce Haney of Rocky Mount, NC; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joan and Doug Frase of Akron, Ohio and Janice and Bill Smith of Greensboro. Eddie also leaves behind eight nieces and nephews and eighteen great nieces and nephews as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased by his mother, Margaret L. Mitchell, and his brother -in-law, Bill Haney of Rocky Mount.
