Elizabeth Harris McCoy, 70, a resident of the Strafford in High Point passed away on Monday July 31, 2023. She was born October 19, 1952 in Eden, the daughter of William Gordon and Naomi Elizabeth Stigall Harris.
She was a graduate of John Motley Morehead High School and was President and Office Manager for McCoy Fabricators, Inc. She had previously worked with EPES Transport.
Elizabeth was married to Kenneth Rickey McCoy, Sr. who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Richard Earles.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Rickey McCoy, Jr. of Raleigh; her sister, Hattie Harris Krites and husband Gary of Eden and nephew Michael Earles.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday August 8, 2023 at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
